BCCHP IL Rewards℠ Program

Redeem gift cards through BCCHP IL Rewards after you complete preventive health services.

• Register at BCBSIL.com/BCCHPILRewards . Or download the BCCHP IL Rewards mobile app. 
• You will need your member ID card, date of birth, and email address to register.

You can get $40 toward a pair of upgraded eyeglass frames every two years. Call Member Services to learn more.

BCCHP members can get extra dental VABs. Members over the age of 21 are eligible for 1 extra cleaning per year for a total of 2 teeth cleanings per year.

These are drugs and items you buy at the pharmacy without a prescription. You can order $50 per household in approved OTC items every six months. The $50 benefit is available from January–June and July–December. Benefit amounts will not roll over. With this VAB, you can get OTC items like pain relievers and allergy medicine. This VAB can help with your basic health and medical needs.

To order OTC Items:

• Check for approved items in the OTC Catalog.
• Place your order online at mpaotc.com. First-time users will need to register an account. 
• You can also place an order by calling Member Services at 1-877-860-2837. 

Your order will be shipped at no cost to your address within 7 to 10 days. 

The program offers education and support to guide members through pregnancy and delivery. If you are pregnant or have delivered in the last 84 days and would like to enroll, call 1-888-421-7781.

By joining Special Beginnings, you can qualify for:

• A free car seat or free portable crib if you go to a prenatal appointment in your first trimester or go to a prenatal visit within 42 days of enrollment with BCCHP.

After the birth of your child, you can qualify for:

• Two (2) free packages of diapers if you have your first post-partum doctor's visit within 84 days of your child's birth.

Members get a free membership to Blue365. This is an extra benefit of being part of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. Blue365 members receive exclusive health and wellness discounts from a range of top retailers. You can save on health care products and services that most often are not covered by a health plan. There are no claims to file. No referrals or approvals are needed. Once you sign up for Blue365, you can ask to get weekly deals sent to your email.

You may qualify for a free cell phone to call your doctor, Care Coordinator or 911 emergency services. Call Member Services for information.

Want to quit smoking? A care coordinator can connect you with the resources you need. When you join, a tobacco cessation program Recovery Support Assistant (RSA) will work with you. The RSA will give support, advice and provide education throughout the program. This can help you on your journey to better health. Treatment may include:

• Counseling 
• Medications (Rx and OTC drugs).

You may get a ride at no cost to a pharmacy, provider appointment or to a BCCHP-sponsored event. This is in addition to the standard transportation benefit.
