Behavioral Health Coverage
The Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) plan offers health care for your body and mind. Sometimes you may need help dealing with stress, grief, or depression. Help is also available for those facing:
- Mental health conditions
- Substance abuse
- Behavioral health crisis
The type of help you might need depends on your personal situation. It could be counseling, treatment, in-patient or out-patient care. HBIA/HBIS provides Care Coordination to help you get the care you need.
If you have questions, call Member Services at 1-877-860-2837 (TTY/TDD: 711). You do not need a referral for a provider that is in our network.
What is Covered?
Some of the covered services we offer include:
- Community-based alcohol or drug treatments
- Community-based behavioral health services
- Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Response services
What is Not Covered?
Examples of services your plan does not cover are:
- Hypnotherapy
- Biofeedback
- Experimental procedures or non-drug therapies

Mental Health Hotlines
If you are having a mental health crisis, there is help. Call one of the below lines. They are 24/7. Calls are private and at no cost to you.
Mobile Crisis Response Hotline
The goal is to intervene and stabilize during a mental health crisis. A mental health specialist will be dispatched to give a face-to-face help.

National Maternal Mental Health Hotline
Get support before, during and after pregnancy. This hotline is for those who feel overwhelmed or depressed. A trained counselor will listen and help.
