New Medicare Advantage Marketing & Sales Materials for AEP

As of Thursday, Oct. 1, you can begin marketing 2027 Medicare Advantage plans and help clients understand their coverage options ahead of the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.
What You Can Do Now
- Conduct marketing activities and discuss plan options with prospects and clients (in accordance with CMS Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines).
- Host marketing and educational events.
- Provide a blank enrollment application for a client to complete on or after Oct. 15 (your name or writing agent ID cannot appear on the application).
- Meet with clients, provided that a Scope of Appointment (SOA) is completed before the appointment.
What You Can't Do Yet
- Solicit Medicare Advantage enrollments.
- Accept or submit Medicare Advantage applications before Oct. 15.
Now Live: 2027 Materials You'll Need for AEP
New Medicare Advantage sales and marketing materials are live on the Producer Supply Portal. You must be certified to access them.
Enrollment Materials
- Print Enrollment Kits (Sales Books): Use for member enrollments. Contains applications, Summary of Benefits, benefits guides, LIS inserts and Scope of Appointment forms.
- Please allow up to two weeks for fulfillment and delivery. You'll receive an email when your order ships. Order up to 10 kits per order.
- Digital Enrollment Kits: Use for immediate access to enrollment materials. Contains PDF versions of the same materials and forms included in the printed kits.
Get to Know 2027 Plans
- Producer Selling Guide: Use for sales planning and AEP readiness. Contains a catalog of all sales materials, selling strategies, event planning resources and broker support contacts.
- Product Footprints: Can also be used for AEP readiness. Contains plan availability by market, provider network updates and callouts on any significant changes to plan benefits.
Resources for Client Conversations
- Benefits Guides (Plan Options Guides): Use as a member handout or guide when comparing options and/or selecting new coverage. Contains high-level information about plan designs, cost-sharing amounts and benefit highlights.
- Sales Presentations: Use for appointments and sales events. Contains in-depth details about plan features, costs, provider networks, and how and when beneficiaries can enroll.
- Supplemental Benefit Flyers: Use for benefit discussions. Contains details on using supplemental benefits and member programs, like MD Live, SilverSneakers Fitness Program, vision coverage through EyeMed, Flexible Spending Card and more.
One more thing: Spanish enrollment kits, benefits guides and sales presentations will be available by mid-October.
