NASCAR will take on the bustling streets of Chicago once again at the third annual NASCAR Chicago Street Race. Save the dates for an exhilarating two-day racing experience on July 5-7 featuring an impressive lineup of global music headliners, driver appearances, and heart-racing moments.

Our Sponsorship

As a founding partner in the event, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois is driving access to health care and opportunities in Illinois communities. “NASCAR has demonstrated its commitment to Chicago beyond the races — which aligns with our commitment to help improve the health and wellness of people across Illinois," said BCBSIL President, Brian Snell.

Festival Preparation Tips

Part of festival preparation is knowing your way around. Gear up for a safe and enjoyable experience and take note of emergency exits, water stations, medical tents, and restrooms.

Stay Hydrated

  • Drink water throughout the day. Staying hydrated is key especially during the warm summer months.
  • Empty plastic water bottles and hydration packs are permitted on the race grounds.
  • Be sure to re-fill your plastic water bottle often at the hydration stations located throughout the park.

Wear Sunscreen

  • Safely soak up the sun. Apply and re-apply sunscreen throughout the day.
  • Attendees are permitted to bring sunscreen in non-aerosol containers in the size of 3.4 ounces or less.

Bring Essential Medications

  • Don’t forget to bring your medications to the festival to ensure a fun and safe experience. See NASCAR’s prescription medicine requirements below.
  • Prescription Medicine Requirements: Anyone needing prescription medicine must present the pharmacy-labeled container which states the prescription, dosage, and patient name to our medical staff at each entrance gate.
  • Patrons are only allowed a sufficient supply of the prescribed medication for that day.
  • Over the counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day.
