When you need to create and share quotes, compare plans, and complete on- or off-exchange enrollments, the Producer Experience Portal, or PEP, is here for you.
Start by logging in to your portal and then select Quote and Enroll from the homepage. To create a new quote, select New Quote from the page menu. Once you’ve entered an applicant’s information, make sure you’ve completed all required fields and click View Plans.
When selecting a plan, verify the applicant and producer details on the page and filter to find the right plan for your client. When looking at two plans of the same type, you can select Compare Plans to see them side by side. Once you’ve identified the right plan for your client, you can save your proposal and send a quote to up to three recipients. Quotes will appear on the Quotes page and will expire after 24 hours.
When it’s time to enroll a client into a plan, you can take a few different routes. You can start from an existing or new quote, or you can select the Enroll button on the homepage. If prompted, choose Create New Application or Go to Incomplete Applications.
For on-exchange enrollments, you’ll be redirected to healthcare.gov or the state exchange. Log in or register there to complete enrollment for on-exchange plans.
Please note: Delegates cannot complete On Exchange enrollment.
For off-exchange enrollments, review the pre-filled data at SEP Add Life Event and click Save. Then click Calculate Effective Date. Once this is done, you’ll need to confirm the application form, choose an authorization option, and complete or update the applicant details. Before selecting plans, be sure to add spouses or dependents. Up to 19 dependents are supported. Then review or change plans, attest to pediatric dental if required, and enter PCP ID for HMO and POS plans.
You can apply the same PCP to all members or use the provider finder to assign each member’s PCP. If proxy or prior coverage applies, you will now add a proxy. Enter the coverage being replaced and add current medical, dental, and/or vision coverage.
You’re almost done!
Now is the time to collect signatures from your clients. Choose Pay Now or Pay Later and submit the application.
If you selected Pay Now, complete the payment in the secure payment portal now. You can return to PEP to confirm the status. Please note: Autopay works with bank accounts only.
You can track all completed or in-progress applications by clicking on the Enroll button on the homepage.
