Each year, our fraud hotline receives thousands of calls reporting possible health care fraud and abuse. We encourage you to report potential cases. Your reports are confidential, and you may remain anonymous.
To report potential fraud or abuse, call our fraud hotline at 800-543-0867. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also file a report online.
What we’ll do: Our Special Investigations Department actively reviews every call to determine if it provides sufficient information to investigate suspected fraud and abuse.
If fraud is suspected, we will conduct preliminary interviews and field audits to determine if fraud was intentionally committed. If the SID concludes that there was no fraud, the case may be referred to the appropriate business area in order to resolve the issue.
