We’re collaborating with Exact Sciences to reduce disparities in colorectal cancer detection and treatment for our members of Blue Cross Community Health PlansSM.
Exact Sciences will reach out directly to members who may have missed recommended colorectal cancer screening or treatment. Some of your patients may receive calls, texts and emails from Exact Sciences to help them receive the screening and care they need.
What this means for you: Exact Sciences customer care may reach out to you or your staff to confirm appointments or gather information to help correctly identify members.
What does Exact Sciences do? Exact Sciences customer care staff members:
- Reach out to members to help them complete their screening kits, address barriers to access and ensure they receive recommended screenings
- Help members understand and navigate their coverage
- Provide resources and guidance following a positive Cologuard® result
