Effective April 1, 2026, the Availity® Essentials Claim Status tool will include updated informational messages to help you with claim status lookup for all dates of service for our members with Blue Cross Community Health PlansSM. These updates are designed to support more accurate inquiry results.
If you use a different online vendor to submit claim status transactions, ensure you’re submitting requests with the appropriate Payer ID:
- Payer ID MCIL2 – Use as of April 1, 2026, for all dates of service for members with BCCHPSM
Payer ID MCDIL – Use only for Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative members for dates of service on or before Dec. 31, 2025
