PPO Benefits

When you choose one of the national plans that include the PPO network, you’ll have access to one of the largest contracting provider networks in the country.

HSA Value and HSA Advantage

• You may contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA) to help pay for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses tax-free.
• You have access to the PPO network of providers. Find a doctor or hospital.
• You pay the negotiated amount for all services (doctor’s office visits, prescriptions, hospital visits) until you meet your individual deductible.

Prescription Drug Benefits

Your prescription coverage is provided by a third-party pharmacy benefits manager. Contact your company’s pharmacy benefits.

With Copay Edge plans powered by Easify℠, your health benefits are simple to use. Costs are easier to manage, too. You can choose trusted, go-to providers from a large PPO network of doctors and hospitals.

Know What Your Plan Requires

You may need prior authorization for certain covered health services to help avoid unexpected costs. Prior authorization means that you need to get approval from your health insurance before you can have certain health services performed. This is important to know before you get these services so we can help you avoid higher costs.

Usually, your network provider will take care of this before the service is performed but it’s best to confirm for yourself.

Call the number on your ID card before you get care or check your benefit booklet for a full list of services that require prior authorization. You can find it by logging in to Blue Access for Members℠, your online account.
