Telehealth

Our telehealth solution, powered by MDLIVE®, lets you have a live consultation with an independently contracted, board-certified MDLIVE doctor or therapist. Based on your location, this can happen 24 hours a day, seven days a week by online video, mobile app or phone.1

Instead of going to the doctor's office, you can have a telehealth visit while at home, work or many other places. And, in many non-emergency situations, a telehealth visit can cost less than going to the urgent care clinic or emergency room.

Getting Care

MDLIVE's doctors and therapists can treat many non-emergency medical conditions, like:

    Having a Telehealth Visit

    Registering for a telehealth visit is easy.

    Note: You’ll need your member ID card if registering on MDLIVE’s website, app, or by phone.

    Once your account is active, you can have a telehealth visit by:

    Online Video

    • Log in to your MDLIVE account by visiting the MDLIVE website, through Blue Access for Members or by downloading the MDLIVE app.
    • Find an MDLIVE doctor or therapist.
    • Video chat right away or make an appointment.

    Note: Behavioral Health visits only available through video.

    Phone

    • Call MDLIVE’s customer service at 1-800-770-4622.
    • They will help you find an MDLIVE doctor or therapist.
    • A health care professional will call you for a telehealth visit.

    Get care when — and where — you need it.

    1 Internet/Wi-Fi connection is needed for computer access. Data charges may apply when using a tablet or smartphone. Check phone carrier’s plan for details. Non-emergency medical service is limited to interactive-audio (phone only) consultations, along with the ability to prescribe in Texas. Non-emergency medical service in Idaho, Montana, New Mexico and Oklahoma is limited to interactive audio/video (video only), along with the ability to prescribe. Behavioral Health service is limited to interactive audio/video (video only), along with the ability to prescribe in all states. Telemedicine visits currently are not available in Arkansas. Service availability depends on location at the time of consultation.
