Member Rewards, administered by MDX Medical1, offers cash rewards for choosing high-quality, lower-cost providers available through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois network. Combined with Provider Finder®, our nationwide database of independently contracted health care providers, Member Rewards can help you:

  • Compare costs and quality for numerous procedures
  • Estimate out-of-pocket costs
  • Earn cash while shopping for care
  • Save money and make the most efficient use of your health care benefits
  • Consider treatment decisions with your doctors

How Does It Work?

  1. Call a Benefits Value Advisor to find a reward-eligible location. Or log in to Blue Access for MembersSM and select Find Care.
  2. Get the procedure or service at your chosen reward-eligible location.
  3. Receive a cash reward by check, which will be mailed directly to your home, after the claim is paid and the location is verified as reward-eligible. 

Call a Benefits Value Advisor at 1-800-516-1268 or shop online using the Provider Finder tool. Either way, you could get cash just for being a smart shopper.
