Pre-certification required

You must pre-certify all inpatient and most outpatient mental health services. Benefits for the following services will not be paid if not pre-certified: autism treatment, psychological testing, biofeedback, electroshock therapy, and hypnosis. We strongly encourage you to call UBH at 1-855-809-2013 before receiving any mental health or substance abuse services to ensure coverage and avoid unnecessary out-of-pocket expenses.
