Rewards Program

The Rewards Program gives Blue Cross Group Medicare Advantage members a healthy and easy way to earn up to $100 in gift cards from national and local retailers. You receive a gift card of your choice for completing Healthy Actions throughout the year. Here are some of the Healthy Actions you can complete once per year:

• Annual flu vaccine
• Colorectal cancer screening
• Fall risk assessment
• Annual wellness visit

The Healthy Activity Portal is a website owned and operated by HealthMine, Inc., an independent company that provides digital health and personal clinical engagement tools and services for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois.

Registration is required to participate. Visit www.BlueRewardsIL.com to register and see what Healthy Actions earn rewards. Maximum annual rewards of $100 in gift cards. One reward per Healthy Action per year. Healthy Action dates of service must be in the current plan year. Healthy Actions that earn rewards are subject to change.

Hearing

Through our partnership with TruHearing^®, Blue Cross Group Medicare Advantage plans provide coverage for one routine hearing exam each year as well as a $5,000 allowance on hearing aids every three years. Check your Summary of Benefits for more details on what your plan covers. Visit TruHearing or call 1-844-207-1685 (TTY 711) to speak with a hearing consultant. They are open 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., local time.

24/7 Nurseline

Blue Cross Group Medicare Advantage plan members can call a registered nurse, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get help with health concerns and general health tips. You can access the 24/7 Nurseline at 1-800-631-7023 TTY 711.

For medical emergencies, call 911. This program is not a substitute for a doctor’s care. Talk to your doctor about any health questions or concerns.

Over-The-Counter Benefit

Your Blue Cross Group Medicare Advantage plan provides coverage for over‑the‑counter (OTC) drugs and other health‑related pharmacy products that includes a $20 monthly rollover.  Members can use their preloaded benefit card to purchase OTC products in these ways:

• Register on the OTC website and order online.
• Download the OTC-Anywhere mobile app.
• Shop at select retailers. Visit the complete list of retailers.
• Call 1-866-268-2674 TTY 711 to order your items or to request an OTC catalog. 

Convey Health Solutions, Inc. is an independent company that offers supplemental OTC benefits such as nonprescription medications and other medical supplies on behalf of BCBSIL.

Blue365^® 

Blue365 offers premier health and wellness discounts to BCBSIL members and it is free to join.

You can find savings like:

• Discounts on exercise clothes and shoes
• Discounted gym memberships and fitness aids like Fitbits
• Savings on eye exams, glasses, contacts, and hearing aids

Check the Blue365 website regularly for the most current discounts.

Blue365 is a discount program only for BCBSIL members. This is NOT insurance. Some of the services offered through this program may be covered under your health plan. Employees should check their benefit booklet or call the Customer Service number on the back of their ID card for specific benefit facts. Use of Blue365 does not change monthly payments, nor do costs of the services or products count toward any maximums and/or plan deductibles.
