Care from the MDLIVE® Network

You can now have a live consultation with a doctor privately and securely over the phone or video by web or mobile app 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With Virtual Visits, powered by MDLIVE, you have access to their network of independently contracted, board-certified doctors. These doctors can help you with non-emergency medical conditions.

Getting Care

MDLIVE's doctors can recommend treatment and write prescriptions (when needed) for a variety of non-emergency medical and behavioral health conditions, including:

Having a Virtual Visit

Instead of going to the emergency room or an urgent care center for a non-emergency condition or when your doctor isn't available, you can have a virtual visit. With MDLIVE, you can discuss your medical condition with a contracted doctor from the convenience of your home, office, or on the go! You can even have your prescription (when appropriate) sent to the pharmacy of your choice.2Simply follow these instructions:

First, log in to Blue Access for MembersSM and sign up on MDLIVE's website. Once your account is active, you can have a virtual visit by:

Online Video

  • Step 1: Log in to your MDLIVE account through Blue Access for Members
  • Step 2: Find an MDLIVE doctor.
  • Step 3: Video chat right away or make an appointment.

Mobile App

  • Step 1: Launch the mobile application on your smart phone or tablet. Get started by downloading the app.
  • Step 2: Find an MDLIVE doctor.
  • Step 3: Video chat right away or make an appointment.

Phone

  • Step 1: Call MDLIVE's Customer Service toll-free number at 1-888-676-4204.
  • Step 2: They will help you find an MDLIVE doctor.
  • Step 3: This doctor will call you for a virtual visit.

MDLIVE is solely responsible for its operations and for those of its contracted providers. MDLIVE and the MDLIVE logo are registered trademarks of MDLIVE, Inc., and may not be used without permission. 

Virtual Visits may be limited by plan. For providers licensed in New Mexico and the District of Columbia, Urgent Care service is limited to interactive online video; Behavioral Health service requires video for the initial visit but may use video or audio for follow-up visits, based on the provider’s clinical judgment. Behavioral Health is not available on all plans.
