On Nov. 3, we shared news about a specific modifier to help identify return-to-office COVID-19 testing.
Since then, we’ve learned we were premature in announcing a specific modifier. There are several options for identifying return-to-office testing claims that the industry is currently reviewing. As a result, we will continue to monitor developments in the industry on standards for identifying these claims.
What this means to you: There will be no change to how we are currently processing COVID-19 testing claims. We apologize for the confusion. There is nothing more you or your customers need to do at this time.
