Your Pharmacy Network – Your network is called the Advantage Network. Advantage Network pharmacies include national and regional pharmacy chains, as well as independent pharmacies.

Prescription Drug Generic Equivalent Incentive – Through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL), your prescription drug benefit uses a Member Pay the Difference pharmacy benefit designed to encourage you to use medicines that have been shown to be safe, and cost-effective. If you fill a prescription through a contracting pharmacy for a covered brand name drug where a generic equivalent is available, you will pay more.

Benefits Value Advisor (BVA) Call Requirement: You must call a BVA prior to scheduling non-emergent Outpatient CT Scans and/or Outpatient MRIs to receive full benefits. If you don't call a BVA before your procedure, your benefits will be reduced by $100. Call 1-800-203-3765 to talk to a BVA.
