To better support you and your family, three new PPO medical plan options are available for 2027.
All three plans cover the same medical services and prescription drugs. The difference is how costs are shared between you and the plan — through paycheck contributions, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses.
Consider your needs and preferences:
PPO Essential HSA Plan
Foundational coverage and value. The PPO Essential HSA Plan features a lower paycheck cost with a higher deductible when you use care and includes a Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions.
PPO Moderate HSA Plan
The PPO Moderate HSA Plan offers a balance between what you pay each paycheck and what you pay when you receive care. It also includes an HSA with company contributions.
PPO Premier Plan
The PPO Premier Plan offers richer coverage that includes more predictable costs (like office visit and prescription drug copays and a low deductible) when you receive care.

Gallagher will contribute company money to your HSA or HCA: $500 for Employee Only coverage and $1,000 for Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child, and Family coverage.

Your Pharmacy Network – Your network is called the Advantage Network. Advantage Network pharmacies include national and regional pharmacy chains, as well as independent pharmacies.
Performance Drug List – View the Performance Biosimilar Drug List. If your medication is not referenced here, please call a Health Advocate to verify coverage.

Prescription Drug Generic Equivalent Incentive – Through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, your prescription drug benefit uses a Member Pay the Difference pharmacy benefit designed to encourage you to use medicines that have been shown to be safe, and cost-effective. If you fill a prescription through a contracting pharmacy for a covered brand name drug where a generic equivalent is available, you will pay more.
