Open Access Plan Tiers I, II, III: Broad Access, Personal Choice, Cost Savings

You now have access to a plan that is designed for members who want the benefits of a PPO and the flexibility to use a large network when the need arises all at a price lower than our traditional PPO plan. You have a wide choice of providers in Illinois:

• Over 105,000 providers and 254 hospitals in the OAP Tier I network*
• Over 115,000 providers and 283 hospitals in the PPO network (OAP Tier II)*
• Tier III out-of-network providers

When traveling outside the state, OAP members also get access to BlueCard^®, a national network of independently contracted providers. The BlueCard Program enables access to more than 97% of hospitals and 83% of physicians nationwide.
