The Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and the Treasury recently released the Affordable Care Act and Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 Implementation Part 56: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
They clarify some Prescription Drug Data Collection (RxDC) Reporting requirements for reference years 2020 and 2021. RxDC Reporting for those reference years was due to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) by Dec. 27, 2022.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) has completed our RxDC Reporting for the 2020 and 2021 reference years on Dec. 22, 2022. Our data submission to CMS was not affected by any of the updates noted in the FAQ.
