What’s new? In 2023, Member Rewards will be automatically included as part of the standard medical benefit for all current small and mid-market PPO plans in Illinois.
Go-live/renewal dates:
- Small groups: On or after Jan. 1, 2023
- Mid-markets: On or after July 1, 2023
Why it matters: The Member Rewards program, administered by Sapphire Digital, uses Provider Finder® to help lower the cost of health care for members. It also helps lower overall utilization, which keep yearly premiums down. The program also gives most members a cash reward when they use Provider Finder to shop for, and use, alternatives for common procedures/services.
