Update your preferences today.

Blue Access for MembersSM

Blue Access for Members is the gateway to even more wellness resources available only to BCBSIL members. Register or log in today to:

  • Check the status of a claim
  • Find a doctor, hospital or urgent care center
  • Estimate the cost of procedures, treatments and tests
  • Request new ID cards
  • View benefit highlights
  • Choose paperless Explanation of Benefits (EOB) claim statements

You can also print a temporary ID card:

  • Log in to Blue Access for Members
  • Click the ID card image on the left
  • Print Click ID card or Download ID card

Blue Access for Members gives you an option to go paperless and get notified by text or email when your Explanation of Benefits and claim letters are ready to view in your secure account. You can also sign up to receive text alerts for prescription drug reminders, heart healthy diet tips, exercise and fitness management tips, and more:

  • Log in to Blue Access for Members
  • Click Settings and then Preferences
  • Select your paperless preference
  • Select the alerts you wish to receive
  • Update your other preferences
  • Click Save Changes
