Claim Filing Made Easy

Keep the following in mind when filing medical claims with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL):

When you receive care from a PPO doctor or hospital, you do not need to pay up-front for your care (except copayment).
Network doctors and hospitals will file claims on your behalf directly with BCBSIL.
You won't have to complete a claim form unless you receive care from a doctor or a hospital that is not part of the PPO network.
Before mailing in a claim, please contact the BCBSIL Customer Service Center at 1-866-540-2130 to get the address where you should send the claim.
