You should have received a bill in your mailbox or email inbox. Make sure to follow all instructions on your bill or we might not be able to accept your payment.

• Medicare: Pay your monthly premium by mailing an envelope with your premium notice and a check or money order. Make your check payable to your plan type – for example, Blue Cross Medicare Advantage or Blue Cross MedicareRx. You can find the mailing address listed on your premium notice.

After you've made your first premium payment, you can pay with cash at your local MoneyGram®* location. MoneyGram has spots across Illinois in Walmart, CVS, Albertsons and more.

To pay at a MoneyGram location:

• Make sure you have a valid photo ID, like a driver's license.
• Bring a copy of your bill. You'll need your account or billing ID number and your “receive code” to pay, both of which are included in your bill.
• Make sure your payment method is accepted. Many MoneyGram locations accept cash or debit card.

• There, you can check the status of claims and find which claims might still have payments due.

Here's a list of preventive care services that are typically fully covered:

• Weight, height, temperature, blood pressure and pulse checks
• A normally physical – checks to your heart and lungs, abdomen, ears, eyes, throat and skin
• Standard vaccines
• Some screenings and tests, like cholesterol, blood sugar or some cancer screenings

If you were charged for preventive care, you may have:

• Go to the Claims tab.
• There, you can check the status, amount and more info about your past and current claims.

To check your year-to-date spending:

• Log in to your member account or the BCBSIL mobile app.
• On the home dashboard, you'll find some high-level spending details.

• Log in to your account or the payment portal.
• Logging in to your online member account or our payment portal.
• Visiting the payment section to check the history of your payments. Review when they were paid and the payment method you used.

When you pay, you'll get a confirmation message in your online account or on the payment portal. Depending on your communication preferences, you'll also get an email or letter in the mail.

You can find your billing ID or member ID on your monthly billing statement or your BCBSIL member ID card.
