Blue Directions Standard from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) allows you to conveniently manage enrollment and benefits online.
Step 1: Choose your benefit offerings
You'll pick up to five BCBSIL health plans plus other specialty benefits, and then set your contribution amount or percentage.
Step 2: Employees access resources
Employees can access educational materials and decision support tools online.
Step 3: Employees compare benefit options
Employees compare benefits options and costs, then enroll on a secure enrollment website.
Step 4: Employees select benefits
Employee benefits selections get sent electronically to BCBSIL and other carriers.
Step 5: ID cards mailed
ID Cards will be mailed directly to your employees once enrollment information is completed on the carrier side.
