The BCBSIL Provider Manual is a comprehensive guide for PPO, HMO and BlueChoice Select professional and facility providers. The Provider Manual sets forth the detailed polices, procedures and requirements for the participation of the professional contracting providers under the PPO contracts. We hope that this manual will make your interaction and collaboration with us as efficient as possible while helping to simplify the administrative requirements that are necessary in providing health services to our members and your patients. Our goal is to collaborate with you in reducing administrative costs.

BCBSIL will periodically update this manual as changes are needed and new information becomes available. While it is possible to print the manual or sections of it, please know that the most current version of the manual is the one that is located on the BCBSIL provider website.
