After launching a remote patient monitoring pilot in late 2021, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois has decided to end the program as of Feb. 10, 2023. Three Illinois hospitals helped test this program, two in Chicago and one in Springfield, and we’re grateful for their assistance.
Pilot participants have been notified and no further action is needed at this time. We received valuable feedback that will help us develop other programs in our ongoing effort to improve outcomes for our members.
