| Vision Discount Program |
PPO, POS, BlueChoice®, BlueAdvantage Entrepreneur PPOSM and BlueEdgeSM HSA members now have their vision discount program administered by EyeMed Vision Care*, a company providing access to more than 18,000 vision care providers nationwide and close to 1,000 providers in Illinois.
Members have access to:
- a national network of both private practice providers, as well as retail locations
- discounts on eye exams
- savings on the purchase of eyewear, including frames, lenses and permanent contact lenses
To take advantage of the savings, members visit one of the many contracting vision care providers in the network, including LensCrafters®. They simply present their Blue Cross and Blue Shield member ID card. No referral is necessary and there is no limit to the number of times they can receive discounts on purchases. Many locations have convenient evening and weekend hours.
