Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois recently invited members of Chicago's South Lawndale community to a Welcome Fall Fest at the site of a new Blue Door Neighborhood CenterSM. The 9,000-square-foot facility is scheduled to open at 2551 W. Cermak Road by the end of 2020. "Our Blue Door centers are designed as community hubs where people can learn, connect and focus on their whole-person health," BCBSIL President Steve Hamman said at the event.
