$3.5M in COVID-19 Relief Funding Helps 175 Service Organizations

More than a year into the COVID-19 crisis and people continue to face challenges related to their health, economic and social wellbeing. To help address the mounting need, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois is distributing an additional $3.5 million to social service organizations across the state.

This latest round of the COVID-19 Community Collaboration Fund is aimed at supporting five focus areas - access to care, hunger, shelter and behavioral health, and COVID-19 health education and vaccine access. These 175 Illinois organizations are receiving the $20,000 grants to help expand crucial assistance for those in need.
