All three Blue Door Neighborhood CenterSM locations in Chicago have reopened to provide in-person classes, workshops and other resources to members of the surrounding communities at no cost. The centers, which provided virtual services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, are celebrating with a series of block parties that kicked off in Pullman earlier this month. Similar events are coming to Morgan Park (Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, 11a.m. - 3 p.m.) and South Lawndale (Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.).
