Our Services

Are you trying to eat healthier? Looking for ways to get more exercise? Stressed-out at work?

Whatever your health and wellness questions, stop by the Blue Door Neighborhood CenterSM. The center is here to help you with ongoing classes and workshops. These are available at no cost, and most services are available for everyone — not just BCBSIL members.

Plus, we partner with local organizations and experts on health topics geared to your needs. We Focus on Whole-Person Health.

BCBSIL wants to help you improve your physical, mental and social well-being. The classes and workshops are aimed at helping you lead a healthier life.

You can also meet with a Health Educator. Our Health Educators can create custom recommendations for classes and resources that can help you reach your health and wellness goals

Have Health Questions?

We can help you understand how health insurance works and how to get the most from your BCBSIL plan benefits.

  • What’s a deductible? What’s a copay? If you have questions about how insurance works, we may have the answers.
  • Not sure about picking a primary care provider? Wondering if a doctor or hospital is in your network? Need a referral to visit a specialist? If you have BCBSIL insurance, we can help you understand what benefits you have and how to use them

Here for the Whole Community

We want to be a welcoming place where the entire community can learn, connect and focus on health. That’s why local nonprofit organizations can reserve our community room at no cost for meetings and other activities.
