Behavioral Health Providers: We Need Your Help to Improve Access to Care

Posted January 23, 2019

The need for behavioral health care continues to rise in Illinois.1,2,3 For a variety of reasons, 56 percent of people who need help do not get it. One reason is because they don’t know where to go for help.4,5  Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) is trying to make it easier for our members to know where to go.

One way our members find care is by using our online Provider Finder®. We want to provide them with the information they need to get help from the right provider at the right time. As a provider of behavioral health care services, you can help by making sure we have the right information about your practice.

Complete our survey!

The survey below will gather details about your practice so we can make them available to our members. Please take the survey that applies to your type of practice:

The survey will be open through March 1, 2019. Skip any questions that do not apply to your practice. We will update our Provider Finder with the information you provide in the survey. Thank you for your time and consideration in completing the survey.

This survey will not change the way HMO members are currently referred for behavioral health care.
