Mailing Error for Members Participating in MMAI

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois is aware of an error that occurred during a recent mailing to our Blue Cross Community MMAI (Medicare-Medicaid Plan)SM members. Letters intended for a small population of members were inadvertently mailed to all members of our Blue Cross Community MMAI plan stating that their Primary Care Provider will no longer be part of the network as of Jan. 1, 2019. It is understandable that the mailing error could be causing confusion for our members and providers. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working to urgently communicate the correct information with our members and providers.
