Electronic Remittance Viewer Now Available
Posted May 16, 2014
The primary purpose of the 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) is to enable automated posting to your patient accounting system. While it includes helpful claim payment information, such as the reason for denial or an explanation of why total charges submitted were not paid in full, ERA data can be challenging to interpret in its original form.
We’re pleased to announce the arrival of an easier way to retrieve, view and help reconcile your 835 data. It’s the AvailityTM Remittance Viewer and it’s available now for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) independently contracted providers and other authorized users, such as billing services.*
