Medicare While Working

If you’re 65 or older and still working, your health care plan pays for health care costs. If there are Medicare-eligible costs beyond what your health care plan covers, Medicare will cover those costs.

If you’re still on a health plan through your work, you can defer enrolling in Medicare Part B. Once you leave the health plan or retire, you can enroll in Medicare Part B during a Special Enrollment Period.
