Quality and cost-effective health care relies on timely access to good information — but too often it's fragmented and not easily shared. A new platform will enable the direct exchange of health information and insights between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and providers using Epic electronic health records.
The first wave of Illinois providers to deploy the new Payer Platform were announced in October.
