As an employee for the State of Illinois, your Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois health care benefits include prescription drug coverage.
To take advantage of this benefit, simply:

Show your Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois ID card at the pharmacy.

Pay the prescription drug copayment (check your benefit highlight sheet for your copayment). Your copayment is determined by your benefit plan, the drug prescribed by your doctor and whether the drug is listed on our drug formulary.
