Participating in Healthy Expectations
To enroll in Healthy Expectations:

Pre-notify your pregnancy by calling the number on the back of your ID card.

To get started, you have the option of completing the initial assessment on the phone, online or by written materials sent to you in the mail.

You'll receive a welcome packet in the mail with important pregnancy-related educational materials.

Halfway through your pregnancy, you'll receive a reminder to complete a follow-up assessment.
With your written permission, information from your health assessments will be shared with your doctor. If there are any significant factors that could affect your pregnancy, a maternity nurse will offer to coordinate your care.
If you pre-notify and complete the initial health risk assessment witin the first trimester or first 17 weeks of your pregnancy, you will receive a copy of The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Book of Pregnancy and Baby Care. When you complete and return the final questionnaire, within 7 weeks after your baby is born, you may be eligible to receive a coupon valid for $50 off any Toys "R" Us or Babies "R" Us purchase of $50 or more.
