Can I buy insurance for my child?
Yes. To enroll your child only, enter the child's gender and birth date in the "Applicant" or first row. Additional children should be entered separately.

Are there any age restrictions?
If you are age 65 and older, click HERE for information about our Medicare Supplement Health Insurance Plans. All family members are eligible to apply for a product. Issue ages are from 1 through 64 for applicant and spouse. Dependent coverage is available to the applicant’s spouse and/or children. Unmarried dependent children are eligible for medical coverage from ages 1 through 19. Unmarried, dependent full-time students are eligible for medical coverage up to age 25.

For the Children’s policies, issue ages are from 1-17 and must be full-time students if school age. A parent or court-appointed guardian must sign the application on behalf of the child. Children from birth to age 1 are not eligible. Children should be entered on the quote separately.

In addition to having a permanent residence in Illinois, all persons applying for coverage must be a United States citizen. All others are ineligible for coverage.
