The PPO Practitioner Profile provides results for cost, quality and administrative efficiency data to assist contracted providers in improving the quality and efficiency of care delivered to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) members. The Profile is intended for informational purposes only. 

New this year is the cost and utilization summary report, which provides information on costs of care for a contracted provider's patients when compared to your peers. Results for up to thirty-two Clinical Quality Measures for BCBSIL PPO and POS members are included. Administrative efficiency indicators are also provided. 

Only practitioners who met minimum volume thresholds are receiving profiles and are included in the comparative report.
