BCBSIL previously communicated we would follow the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines regarding "Incident To" billing. Due to system limitations, we will not be able to implement these guidelines. Therefore, effective May 1, 2012, we will not follow CMS "Incident To" billing methodology.
