Availity’s new online Claim Research Tool (CRT)* can help your office staff obtain faster, more accurate and more detailed claims status information for increased office efficiencies related to managing accounts receivable.
New, real-time claim status request features include:
- Status of multiple claims in one view
- Member ID and claim number look-ups
- Patient account and group number information
- Detailed line-level information including reason codes and descriptions
- Related copay, deductible and coinsurance amounts
With its expanded online functionality, the CRT also helps decrease the need for costly, time-consuming phone calls. Best of all, like other Availity features, the CRT is available at no cost to you!
You may access the CRT via Availity’s Provider Portal (once you log on to the Availity Portal, click Claims Management, then Claim Research Tool). For assistance navigating the tool, please refer to the CRT Tip Sheet.
