| Newly Enacted Illinois Mandated Benefits: 2007- 2008 |
Recently Enacted Mandated Benefits for Group Accident and Health, and HMO Illinois Contracts and List of Current Illinois Insurance Mandates
In the 4th quarter of 2007 the Illinois state legislature enacted into law four new Public acts that apply to all individual and group health insurance and all individual group HMO contracts. The new laws require coverage and reimbursement for specified services and or supplies. A synopsis of each newly enacted law is outlined below:
