HMO Nested Network Offers Savings
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois’ HMO
nested network options can potentially decrease
an employers overall health care costs by close
to 10%. Employers that currently have at least 150
employees enrolled in HMO Illinois can now choose
to offer the BlueAdvantage HMO network alongside
their current benefit program or can offer different
benefit programs for each network. Choose either
one or both of our HMO network options:

BlueAdvantage HMO Network--with
nearly 150 medical group/Individual Practice
Association sites, this network offers a broad
provider network at a 9% savings. Currently,
more than 70 percent of HMO Illinois members,
on average already utilize a BlueAdvantage HMO
provider.

HMO Illinois Network--still
the largest HMO provider network in the state.
Remember, both networks also:

offer many provider choices, including the
state's largest pharmacy network

feature the same physician credentialing process
and member service resources

have earned an Excellent Accreditation from
the National Committee for Quality Assurance
(its highest accreditation level)
